TRIXIE BELDEN AND THE SECRET OF THE MANSION #1. 1948.  First edition.  Good condition, bound in variant dark green boards with orange lettering (peeled spot on front cover, usual age-toning to paper, some edgewear and wear to the corners, but the binding is tight and straight, the contents clean.), no dustjacket.    24859

TRIXIE BELDEN AND THE SECRET OF THE MANSION #1. NY: Golden Press, 1959.  Diamond-spine dust jacket by Herbert Tauss.  Bound in red and pink diamond patterned boards, with green and white diamond endpapers.  Some edgewear to the dj, especially at the top of the spine, and some delamination, but overall the cover illustration is bright and attractive, and  the book is a nice tight copy – thus very good- in a very good- dustjacket.  84453   $ 75.00

TRIXIE BELDEN AND THE SECRET OF THE MANSION #1. NY: Golden Press, 1959.  Diamond-spine dust jacket by Herbert Tauss. Very good-  in  a very good- example of the hard-to-find dustjacket (prev owner’s name in book, shelfwear to boards, edgewear to dj, esp at the top of the spine.)

TRIXIE BELDEN: THE RED TRAILER MYSTERY, #2. Very early printing.   Ads at the back list to #3 in the series.  Very good –  in the uncommon original beige binding with red and white lettering and illustration on the front cover, lacking the dj.  (prev owner’s name dated 1952.)

TRIXIE BELDEN AND THE GATEHOUSE MYSTERY. #3.   A very good example in the most fragile binding used for this series.  Slight delamination, crack to binding before title page, but overall a straight and attractive copy.   23826      sold

TRIXIE BELDEN: THE MYSTERY OFF GLEN ROAD #5   Early printing, probably around 1958. Partial list of Trixie titles in the back of the book includes number 6 in the series.  Photo album endpapers.   Overall very good condition: a relatively inconspicuous previous owner’s name on front endpaper, just a slight beginning of delamination at the front joint.   Better than average for this fragile binding.
