First printing - a limited, signed edition. As noted in the foreword, this is "an account of some of the incidents which have come under my observation in travels of about two hundred throusand miles, and hence this little volume has been prepared for those who may find it of interest." Ranges from his early travels in 1888, after graduating from college, to the West - San Francisco and Seattle, to his more extensive travels in the East - especially a visits to Angkor Wat, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, Pekin, Bali and Sumatra, and to Australia and New Jersey. Limitation is noted on the copyright page: "For presentation, there have been privately printed 250 copies at the printing house of William Edwin Rudge, Inc., New York, on Worthy Hand and Arrows Paper. This is number 137" and SIGNED by Bliss. Bliss was the owner of the Worthy Paper Company. Large format. 56 pp. Fine in gray paper-covered boards, in a rather chipped and torn, but original, glassine wrapper. .
