JONATHAN AND DAVID.
New York: Harper & Brothers, 1909. An appealing small volume, measuring just 7 by 4 1/2 inches, with an equally charming story of the close bond between a poor, but dignified and proud, old man and his collie. Illustrated with 3 sepia toned plates by W. T. Smedley. Bound in grayish-green cloth with white lettering and designs, and a fourth illustration pasted on the front cover. 48 pgs.
Condition: Very good condition - bookplate inside front cover, discoloration to a section of the tissue guard for the frontipiece (caused by something being laid into the book previously) and some rubbing to the lettering on the spine - otherwise, nice and tight and straight and the front cover is bright and attractive.
