Although Johnston is closely associated with Kentucky - where she had settled some years before this novel was written - this is set in Provincetown, then a quaint old fishing village, on the tip of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Illustrated by Ray N. Jackson with a full color frontispiece of 'the real Georgina' and three glossy plates as well as numerous small black and white drawings. 348 pp.
Condition: Very near fine in blue cloth with gilt lettering in a very good dustjacket. (gift inscription dated in 1917, some minor edgewear to the dj, mostly on the back cover.) Scarce in dust jacket and especially so in this condition.
