Rewritten by the author before her death in 1928, this is their first appearance in book form. Among the topics are the many fires that ravaged the city, and much on the entertainers and places of entertainment - included the Opera, Lola Montez, Adah Issacs Mencken, Matilda Heron, Edwin Booth and more.
