This issue is SIGNED by A.M. Homes at her story "Esther in the Night " (a very early publication of Homes, co-inciding more or less with the publication of her first novel - the biographical note preceding the story is notable for giving her full name: Amy Michael Homes.) Also includes an excerpt from Norman Mailer's then-unpublished "Harlot's Ghost", and short stories by Rick Bass, Robert Olmstead, Sharon Sheehe Stark, Fred Chappell, Richard Currey, Wayne Johnson and others.
