Other stories are about Chinook, the Cinnamon Cub and his Sister Snookie, in the rich Oregon woods, with Cougar, the mountain lion, Paddy Paws, the bobcat, and Mazama, the mysterious owl. OWritten against a background of natural science of interest to adults as well as younger readers.'
