Based on the diary of Mrs. Gilman, this is an account of a Southern California family of fruit growers travels north - to Monterey and Santa Cruz, to the Yosemite Area, Clearlake, down to San Francisco and back to Mendocino, only to finally "bust" north of Boonville, where they settled near Cloverdale. Illustrated from photographs and a sketch and map endpapers by Ernest Maxwell. 187 pp. Fine in green cloth with gilt lettering, lacking the dj. .
