First edition - This is Brautigan's very uncommon first book appearance with four of his poems - The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth's Beer Bottles, The Mortuary Bush, Twelve Roman Soldiers and an Oatmeal Cookie, and Gifts. In addition to Brautigan, this includes four poems each by Martin Hoberman, Carl Larsen and James M. Singer. A small and quite fragile pamphlet bound in glossy white wrappers illustrated with 4 handprints on the front cover, but the cover does not include the names of the poets whose work is included.
