This is the story of how the son of a Scotch shepherd earned his set of bagpipes and a musical education. Illustrated with photographs of children taken by the author. Red and white illustrated endpapers. Bound in light blue illustrated boards with a royal blue cloth spine and printed throughout on good quality semi-glossy paper. 159 pp.

Condition: Near fine in a good only dust jacket (some light foxing on the endpapers, missing approx 2 inches of spine of dj, crease on front cover, several edge tears, but front cover illustration is bright and attractive). Flap of dust jacket lists to #10 in this series.
