SIGNED hardcover first edition - A later novel in the series of mysteries featuring Captain Hugh "Bulldog" Drummond, DSO, MC, a wealthy man who was an officer in the "Royal Loamshire Regiment", who, after the First World War, spends his new-found leisure time as a private detective originally created by Herman McNeile (Sapper) and based in part of McNeile's friend, Gerard Fairlie. Often stereotypical, sometimes racist, these books were immensely popular and were the basis for films, television and radio shows. Ian Fleming cited these as an influence upon his work.
