Cowley's first collection of verse since the publication of 'Blue Juniata' in 1929, this contains 17 poems, mostly written between 1938-1941. Printed in New York City at the Fine Editions Press, under the direction of Gustav Davidson. Cover and title-page decoration by Donna Klewer. Unpaginated.
Condition: Very good+ in light green boards (slight fading to the edges, corners bumped) in a good only dustjacket, with overall sunning, some spotting and edgewear (dj is now protected by an archival cover.) Uncommon in the hardcover edition.
